- TITLE: San Francisco Tesla Society Newsletters
-
- I've just posted the March, April, and May 1990 transcriptions of the San
- Francisco Tesla Society Newsletter to /long.messages #144-146.
-
- They cover a wide variety of subjects, including Tesla concepts, neuro-
- stimulation, free energy, mass-energy-gravity relationships, Tesla from a
- New Age point of view, etc. I found them interesting and fairly
- intelligently written, even if the subject matter is somewhat unorthodox.
-
- I'd like to stress that I'm acting solely as a messenger transferring these
- files from a local BBS to BIX, and have no other connection to the people
- mentioned or the information therein, and no other interest save the free
- flow of information and the hope that we will continue to learn more about
- the universe.
-
- I'd also like to note that the April newsletter contains the number of
- Computer Continuum BBS in San Francisco, which carries an SFTS Forum,
- including Tesla updates, discussions, and the newsletter: 415-755-1524.
- (I haven't personally verified the number or BBS operation.)

- SAN FRANCISCO TESLA SOCIETY NEWSLETTER
- 700 Earl Street San Francisco, CA 94124
- Volume I Number 3: March 1990
-
- MARCH MINUTES
-
- About 20 of us met at the Earl Street warehouse on Sunday 11 March
- 1990 at 1 PM. The membership dues were discussed. For new members, the
- total annual dues are $30: $5 to San Francisco Tesla and $25 to
- International Tesla. For continuing members, the total annual dues are
- $25: $5 to Local and $20 to International. If you are interested in
- membership, please refer to "Membership Information."
-
- We convened at 1 pm and continued until almost 6 pm with people coming
- and going in between those times. (How time flies when you're having
- fun!) We had a Lakhovsky Multiple Wave Oscillator demonstration by Tom
- Helke and a video on Tesla weaponry by Tom Bearden. Lively discussions
- followed both presentations. Lakhovsky Multiple Wave Oscillator
-
- The meeting began with Tom Helke's sparkling demonstration of a turn-
- of-the-century electrotherapy device called a "Lakhovsky Multiple Wave
- Oscillator" (MWO). Tom has been interested in alternate healing
- techniques for years and the MWO is an outreach of that interest. To
- receive a "treatment," you sit between two flat antennas which produce
- an electromagnetic field of therapeutic energy.
-
- Last summer, he hacked together the device from spare parts which
- included beer and sarsaparilla bottle capacitors, aluminum foil and
- acryllic antennas, a car ignition coil, a hand-wound, oil-filled Tesla
- coil with a rotary spark gap. Everything was constructed from scratch
- and was based on a modern design originally devised by Bob Beck and
- later modified by Klark Kent.
-
- The MWO was conceptualized by George Lakhovsky who was a Russian-born
- engineer residing in Paris. He was interested in various forms of
- electrotherapy and believed that electromotive force (emf) broadcast
- at multiple frequencies would have a curative effect.
-
- Lakhovsky postulated that the energy field resonates with the "twisted
- filament" (which is like a "tiny oscillator") in the neuclei of living
- cells. Thus, the cell can act as a transmitter or receiver of radio-
- electric waves that are energizing and revitalizing. With Tesla's
- help, he constructed the MWO in the mid-1920s. It received U.S. patent
- #1,962,565 in 1931.
-
- Lakhovsky died in 1942. The patent expired in 1951 and is now in
- public domain. Since, MWOs' and similar devices have been used
- extensively in therapy clinics throughout Europe. Americans continue
- to "experiment" with MWOs' which have been documented to be of value
- in treating cancer, arthritis, and other illnesses.
-
- Four people sat for an electrotherapy experience. Three stated they
- felt a distinct energy field; one said he felt both calmed and
- energized; and another said he felt nothing. The MWO will be available
- for demonstration at April's meeting. The Multiple Wave Oscillator is
- another example of Tesla technology and it generated a high degree of
- interest at the meeting. Such presentations are ideal for our group
- because they satisfy the need for hands-on experience of the theories
- and inventions of Nikola Tesla. For more information on the Lakhovsky
- Multiple Wave Oscillator, please refer to the following:

- TOM BEARDEN VIDEO
-
- In a two hour video, Colonel Tom Bearden spoke in great detail about
- Tesla weaponry developed by the Soviets. Apparently, with applications
- of "scalar wave interferometry," entire cities can be shielded from
- the most intense military attacks. A globe of energy can be made to
- cover a sizable geographic area so that planes, missiles, armies
- cannot enter, but are disintigrated by the wall of light upon contact.
-
- Soviet attack weaponry employs like principle in that scalar waves are
- pointed towards a specific area of the globe or to a photograph (!) of
- the area or object and instantaneous destruction takes place. Bearden
- cited the devastation of the Trident submarine as an example of the
- work of the Soviets and their Tesla weapons.
-
- He used color illustrations (no photographs) to help clarify the
- points he made, but the talk was very technical in nature and left
- many of us in the dark. Discussion that followed indicated that, if
- such things are possible, why hasn't Bearden given us physical
- evidence of such claims.Bearden goes into greater detail about his
- claims in his books on the subject. He seems most dedicated to
- disseminating knowledge of the more extreme applications of Tesla
- technology, but, then again, there's that query ... where's the proof?
-
- Tesla devised similar kinds of area protection shields and avowed such
- weaponry, but it was all in the planning stage and, as history
- proclaims, was not developed further.
-
-
- EDITORIAL
-
- At every one of our meetings, we have had attendees expressing
- skepticism toward some of the claims made by "Tesla Scientists." In
- future publications I am sure more controversial material will appear.
- It is ever the fate of people who deal with the cutting edge of
- science to shed or wade in a little blood. As a Tesla supporter I
- certainly expect it to happen to me. I share in some of the
- frustration of our members in not having anything to point to that
- proves Tesla codified a science that gives free energy, or deals in
- time travel, or that can shield people\cities from harm. These are,
- after all, pretty extravagant claims and it is easy to be intimidated
- by the embarrassment of being laughed at.
-
- The devices that prove Tesla technology exists, are simply not being
- mass produced nor are they being ballyhooed (against an obviously
- disinterested scientific community). The foremost reason I am
- actively involved in this group is to do anything I can to get these
- devices to the general public. A little known historical fact about
- the personal computer illustrates that a tiny handful of individuals
- released plans and kits to the general public just one step ahead of
- the military's (among others) attempts to shut them down. Obviously
- the release of working Tesla devices are far more portentous. Hold on
- to your hats.
-
- To show you what we are involved in as far as the perception of the
- general public is concerned, I ran across the following snippets in
- the Colliers Encyclopedia. This is history -- as it is currently being
- taught:
-
- "Physicists came to think of all space as occupied by a real substance
- with some very peculiar properties designed to transmit light waves
- but to avoid certain other consequences. This medium was called the
- ether, and following earlier philosophers such as Descartes,
- physicists gradually came to the conclusion that gravitational (as
- well as electric and magnetic) forces are transmitted as some sort of
- pressure in this fluid. Only as attempts to formulate a consistent
- theory of the ether met with no success did it begin to appear that
- though the ether answered the question of action at a distance, the
- answer could not be regarded as satisfactory.
-
- It remained for Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955) to put all the pieces
- together; to abolish the ether, as it were, and to postulate that
- standards of absolute space and time have no physical existence, since
- no conceivable experiment can reveal their existence in any way."
-
- The Encyclopedia Americana said much the same thing but was kinder in
- their summation with the following:
-
- "Although the classical concept of the ether is now considered
- obsolete, the concept of space in modern physics retains certain
- affinities with an ether: space is not conceived as something totally
- vacuous but as the seat of various energetic processes."
-
- Tesla, of course, knew that the "ether" existed and proved it many
- times over. Tesla scientists, since then, have delineated the
- mathematics behind the discoveries, but it will be up to organizations
- and businesses such as ours to "force" it out into the open.
-
- There is, by definition, only one Unified Field Theory. Einstein
- spoke often and loudly that relativity was not the Unified Field
- Theory. Yet science keeps forcing us into accepting it as such. Next
- issue we will promote some ideas of why current science has failed us,
- along with some Tesla alternatives.

-
- All That Sparks ...
-
- This article borrows heavily from a paper written by Tom Bearden titled, "The
- New Electromagnetics And The Secrets of Free Electrical Energy." However I have
- attempted to rephrase most of the physics Tom has described to some elemental
- "baby talk" conclusions. I will undoubtedly offend almost anyone with a
- technical background but I am going to try to bring an Andy Rooney simplicity
- into play.
-
- Most of what I learned about electricity supposed a "charged mass" or
- "electrons" leaping from atom to atom. After all, radio transmissions have
- limitations as to range. Yet no one has satisfactorily explained how radio
- transmissions can be transmitted through a vacuum! Yet most learned scientists
- fall back on the conundrum that there never is such a thing as a "perfect"
- vacuum. OK, Wise Guys, how come the radio signal is totally unaffected in any
- way by a $Bpartial $Bvacuum? Why doesn't a partial vacuum at least weaken the
- signal?
-
- Speaking of vacuums, recent experiments have proven that light travels
- considerably faster through a vacuum than through an atmosphere. Does this mean
- that the distances we have been assuming between stars are all wrong?
-
- On what other funny rules can we cast some doubt. How about the premise that,
- all things being equal, objects fall at the same rate? A one pound stone
- dropped from the Empire State Building will hit the pavement at the same time
- as a ten pound stone. Wrong! Two gyroscopes placed in identical boxes dropped
- at the same time from the aforementioned building, one spinning, one not, ...
- guess what? This is not just hypothetical, it has been done.
-
- Nikola Tesla "pumped" his coils to as high a voltage as was humanly possible
- and then observed what happened. A strange thing began to happen. The higher
- the voltage, the less that happened. In simple terms, he was approaching
- $Bpumping $Bthe ether. Think about it.
-
- Consider this: mass may be a $Bdisplacement $Bof an energy field instead of
- being
- required as a component. Maybe the earth "displaces" the ether and thereby
- causes the ether to "push" instead of the earth to "suck" it.
-
- Everybody admits that time is not truely measurable by modern methods. Indeed
- space-time as Einstein describes it, is warpable. Indeed.
-
- -3-
-
- Pure vacuum is pure charge flux. On the order of 200 million volts or higher.
- It almost amounts to a parlor trick to "bring it back down" to usuable levels.
- One thing might help our thinking here, stop thinking about plus and minus ...
- at these levels it is pure energy. Remember ... no mass.Next month I will
- explore some of the practical ways we can demonstrate and bring to the public,
- practical applications and means to utilize some of the "anomalies" I have
- just described. Hopefully we will be able to announce some programs that the
- San Francisco Tesla Society may be initiating to bring these things to the
- public.
-
- Darrell Bross, SFTS President
-
- All That Sparks ... is an open column to which anyone can submit a personal
- viewpoint of Tesla and/or Tesla Technology. Tesla was a pioneer who was
- recurrently challenged by his contemporaries. We whole-heartedly encourage a
- pioneering spirit.
-
- April Minutes
-
- We convened at 700 Earl Street, 8 April 1990, 1 PM. It was discussed that a
- sizable number of the attendees were interested in Tesla from the standpoint
- of developing "free energy" devices.George Perry, Eric Reiter, and Bob Frier
- demonstrated the GoodField One which is an electromagnetic field generator. It
- emits a wide spectrum of frequencies -- 1 Hz to 300 MHz. (The radio delivers
- one frequency.) The electromagnetic field tends to enact "order and
- orientation" in the human energy system which enhances "the antibodies chances
- of recognizing mutations and invading viruses."The driver circuitry for the
- GoodField One is contained in a small plastic box. Attached is a small spiral
- antenna which can
-
- -4-
-
- be placed anywhere on or near the body for effect. The uses of the GoodField
- One are varied and range from energy enhancement to alleviation of substance
- addictions.
-
- Also available from GoodFields Technology is the GoodField Two -- a
- low cost, tunable, electric pulse generator; also described as a "brain
- tuner."
-
- There is not an apparent relationship with Tesla technology here;
- however, for those of you who are avid students, it should be remembered that
- Nikola Tesla was the original inventor of the radio. Marconi received undue
- credit for it.
-
- The GoodField One was designed by Eric Reiter and the GoodField Two was
- developed by Bob Frier. Both devices can be purchased from GoodFields
- Technology, 161 Park Plaza, Suite 12, Daly City, CA, 94015. Or call (415) 755-
- 0469. The price of the GoodField One is in the $175-$200 range.
-
- The Lakhovsky Multiple Wave Oscillator was again demonstrated and will
- continue to be available at the meetings.
-
- Our meetings seem to draw out the colorful in us all. Jerry Tomlinson reaped
- a long-standing wish of getting his ear pierced! Mike Kan performed the
- service with an appropriate piercing device.
-
- May Meeting
-
- We will convene at 700 Earl Street, San Francisco, CA 94124 on 13 May 1990,
- Sunday, 1 PM. There will be a film about the life of Tesla, narrated by Orson
- Welles.
-
- Take the #19 Polk Street bus outbound. Get off at the last stop, Earl
- and Innes, before entering Hunters Point Naval Shipyards. Walk down the hill.
- We are in the sizable, brown warehouse. If driving, take 3rd Street
- southbound, turn left on Evans, follow that around into Innes, Earl Street
- intersects Innes. Call 641-9704 just before meeting time for details.

-
- -6-
-
- The Sea of Energy
-
- T. Henry Moray's theories of "radiant" or "cosmic" energy paralleled those of
- Tesla in the earlier part of the twentieth century. His radiant energy device
- was able to produce 50 kilowatts of power over a 72 hour period with no
- connection to an outside source. In fact, it was demonstrated many miles from
- any known source of electricity.
-
- Moray realized that the energy with which he worked came to the earth from an
- outside source and was oscillating, rather than static, in nature. To
- implement his ideas, he needed to develop a good "valve-like detector." He
- discovered that a "soft, white stone" would suit these needs. Later versions
- became the diode and finally the transistor.
-
- His doctoral thesis at the University of Upsalla, Sweden, "advanced the idea
- that there was energy throughout space." Presently, this is referred to as
- "zero-point vacuum" energy.
-
- T. Henry Moray repeatedly tested and demonstrated his device to a host of
- established researchers. He could not patent it because the U.S. Patent Office
- required proof of an energy source. The radiant energy device was destroyed by
- a Russian who worked with Dr. Moray in his Salt Lake City lab. The components
- were extremely difficult to create and, since, a similar device has not been
- developed.
-
- The germanium semiconductor was developed directly from the ground-work of T.
- Henry Moray. Dr. Harvey Fletcher, once head of Bell Laboratories, got the
- original information on the transistor from Dr. Moray. Under Dr. Fletcher's
- direction, further development lead to the Nobel Prize for certain individuals
- at Bell Labs.
-
- John Moray, son of T. Henry Moray, continues the work of his father at Cosray
- in Salt Lake City. The book from which this material was derived, The Sea of
- Energy by T. Henry Moray, can be purchased from The Research Institute, 2505
- South Fourth East, PO Box 151045, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84115. Cost: $10 plus
- s/h.
-
- Another book, Radiant Energy, by T. Henry Moray can be purchased from
- Borderland Sciences Research Foundation, Box 429, Garberville, CA 95440. Cost:
- $3.00 plus s/h, CA state tax.The following was conveyed to me with a copy of
- The Sea of Energy from John Moray:
-
- -7-
-
- Addendum
- The Sea of Energy
-
- The following is an affidavit made by Dr. Harvey Fletcher to support the
- Eyring Research Institute in a proposal made by them to NASA. This illustrates
- that Dr. Henry Eyring and Dr. Fletcher's opposition to Dr. Moray was strictly
- political. It also gives credence to our belief that Dr. James Fletcher,
- former head of NASA, knows that Radiant Energy is genuine and is only opposed
- to it in an effort to protect his father. This also would explain the stand
- their cousin Senator Wallace Bennett took against government support of
- Radiant Energy. (See pages 96, 97, and 99, The Sea of Energy.) Dr. Harvey
- Fletcher erred in one statement; he was invited to work on the project by
- Robert L. Judd, Dr. Moray's attorney, who happened to be Heber J. Grant's son-
- in-law, but not a representative, at that time, of the LDS church.
-
- I, Harvey Fletcher, being of sound mind, at the age of 94, on this 25th day of
- May, 1979, in the City of Provo, Utah, do make the following declaration of my
- own free will, to wit:
-
- According to my memory, in the year 1928, while I was employed by Bell
- Telephone Labs in New York, I was invited to Utah by officials of the Mormon
- Church with the approval of my employer to observe a demonstration of a device
- invented by T. Henry Moray of Salt Lake City, Utah. The device was contained
- in a small wooden box about 18" x 24" x 24" long, which I, personally,
- inspected and determined that it was connected to no prime mover but only to
- an antenna and a ground.
-
- The electrical load on the device consisted of 12 clear 75 Watt 110 Volt light
- bulbs and a 500 Watt electric flat iron, also 110 Volt. When the antenna and
- ground were connected, and certain adjustments made by the inventor, internal
- to the box, the loads were electrically operated. I was permitted to inspect
- the interior of the box and certain of the schematic drawings pertaining to
- the circuits involved in the device. I was not permitted to inspect a plug-in
- unit which was removed and held in the palm of the inventor's hand which he
- stated was the most proprietary part of the apparatus.
-
- I did not know how the device functioned and do not know
-
- -8-
-
- today, but I do know that it did function for the several hours of time that I
- observed it. I could discern no batteries, and could observe no other known
- methods of inducing electric power into the box or its loads.
-
- Signed this 25th day of May, 1979.

- Subscribed and sworn to before me this 25th day of May, 1979.

- All That Sparks ... Part I
-
- O.K., Darrell and Tom, I shall lend my thoughts to this effort, for we are not
- all scientists here. I am drawn to the "Tesla Vortex" (invisible, yet shocking
- when experienced) from the intuitive aspect of body/mind. Will you spend a few
- minutes and explore some not-nuts-or-bolts ideas with me? Let's start blending
- right and left brain perceptions of the Tesla phenomena.
-
- I found myself making an unsubtle feminist comment (an insult, really) while
- expressing my bewilderment over Tesla coil-builders' fascination for their
- craft. With all the exciting potential of so-called "Tesla Technology"
- (radiant energy source devices, subtle electromagnetic healing concepts, a
- whole new paradigm of our geo-electric and bio-electric reality, etc.,
- etc...), why the continued fuss over Tesla coils?
-
- "Tom," I asked, "What's with all these guys sitting around comparing whose
- lightning is longer?"
-
- Tom, in a most un-macho way, quietly responded that it had to do with
- "experiencing the power." It took some time for his comment to sink in, so
- softly was it delivered. And then it hit me ...
-
- My first experience with the million-volt Tesla coil was at the 1984 Tesla
- Symposium in Colorado Springs.
-
-
- -5-
-
- All That Sparks ... Part I (cont.)
-
- To witness the machine-made lightning directly is to have an archetypally
- transpersonal experience. The coil is indeed a mechanical representation of
- the snake of the kundalini, the coiled serpent rising from the root chakra,
- vessel of the pranic charge of life itself. With the flick of a switch and a
- jolting thunderclap, radiant violet lightning lashes forth from the crown of
- the momentarily living machine. The experience induced awe in the eye of this
- beholder ... for the violet lightning that danced on the coiled serpent's head
- was that very same violet color discussed by Alice Bailey, S.J.G. Ouseley,
- Jack Schwartz, and myriad other metaphysical healing-oriented authors. My
- whole body resonated with that lightning. I was in the presence of the actual
- Violet Ray. I was witnessing that "highest light vibration," perceiving
- something far beyond myself, yet to which I was connected ... I was trembling
- for days afterward, every time I recalled the visual image.
-
- Are you still with me? The power of seeing the coil go off with my own eyes
- summoned forth my own electric self. The coil and lightning presented an image
- of my electrical self-consciousness to my psyche, through the eye of my
- body/mind. If witnessing the lightning off the coil did all that, what would
- bathing in it do? Tesla did it all the time ...
-
- It makes sense that Tesla didn't care to shake hands with anyone. He used to
- hang out in his laboratory, by his own account, and let the energy surge
- through him, radiating lightning from his fingertips. He wrote quite highly of
- the experience, trying to convince the public of the safety of his type of
- electricity (to wit, AC). Yet there was something else happening, as anyone
- who has worked with chakras and meridians could tell you: he was clearing and
- cleansing and charging and repeatedly balancing his own bio-energetic body. No
- wonder that he did not care to receive anyone else's toxic etheric discharge
- (transmitted by the act of shaking hands). No wonder he retained an agile body
- and alert mind ... Oh, so they say he was crazy toward the end of his life?
- ... Well, should we go back to his later work and re-evaluate it?
-
- Was he crazy, or just a clear and present super-thinker far ahead of his time?
- Looking at the descriptions of the man as I do, living in California in 1990,
- I see an eccentrically self-actualized, highly self-expressive New Age man,
- who was also tragically unsuccessful as an entrepreneur. He was understandably
- angry in his later years. He engendered controversy by his very openness, in a
- life-long attempt to keep his ideas in the public eye and mind. Could he have
- been a man whose body/mind was free and clear of energy blockages? I believe
- he not only survived a childhood kundalini crisis (read MY INVENTIONS,
-
- -6-
-
- All That Sparks ... Part I (cont.)
-
- Ed. Ben Johnston, 1982), but kept clearing his energetic self until very late
- in his life when his laboratory and all his resources had gone. Had he blown
- all his fuses, or were they working better than we will ever know??? I see a
- man whose life and work deserves further reflection and research.
-
- And I thank you, all you Tesla coil builders, for counting your coils
- carefully, and observing the length of your lightning. Keep it up!

-
- All That Sparks ... Part II
-
- This is the third, and final, article in a series that attempts to reduce the
- revolutionary Tesla technology down to layman terms (at least as far as this
- writer is able).
-
- The first, and perhaps most startling, technological breakthrough is a three
- part energy invention that was Tesla's ultimate downfall - the wireless
- transmission of power. Before that, was the transmission of power over a
- single line. And the ultimate application, of course, is the extraction of
- "free" energy directly from the etheric "sea of energy".
-
- Eric Dollard, in 1986 replicated the single wire transmission of energy so
- we know that the Tesla apparatus is duplicatable. Other than the savings in
- copper wire and line losses I cannot see this as having a terrific impact
- other than a rather starrtling and undeniable demonstration that we can now
- throw out all concepts of plus and minus. It does, however, lead to the
- next, more startling, development.
-
- Project Tesla, conducted during 1987 and 1988, was an attempt to duplicate
- Tesla's work in "pumping" the Schumann Cavity with Extremely Low Frequency
- waves at a point in Colorado and extracting that energy from a location near
- Los Angeles. This would have had a tremendous effect in enabling energy
- poor countries to achieve manufacturing parity with any other country. Cheap
- labor and limitless electrical power would have changed the economies of
- practically everything we do. Unfortunately some shortcuts were attempted
- with Project Tesla resulting in a critical part breaking down and the project
- had to be discontinued. The good part about this experiment was that every-
- one wound up agreeing that you don't use shortcuts when it comes to the
- masters (Tesla) design. And they got far enough into the project to gain
- even more confidence that the project is feasible (not to mention the big
- bucks somebody had invested in it in the first place).

- All That Sparks ... Part II (cont.)
-
- The third phase of power generation/transmission has to do with "free energy"
- devices. I believe that this single development will not only set us free
- from having to pay for power but is the key that will unlock the door to
- truly earth shaking breakthroughs in many other areas. We already have small
- bench-top generators that create energy out of thin air. Cold fusion also
- works and is being duplicated all over the world. The first thing that
- unlimited power leads to is the transmutation of base materials into any
- composition of metals that you can dream up. From the ancient alchemists
- attempt to create gold to the modern dream of a totally impervious yet
- malleable metal.
-
- The problem associated with free energy technology is that you would put
- out of business all of the power companies on the face of the globe. This
- suggestion was Tesla's downfall. You would also instantly bankrupt, not
- only the nuclear power generating business but the oil companies as well
- since cars would be immediately converted to a free energy motor.
-
- Another development that free energy leads to is free communication. If
- energy can be "beamed", or received anywhere on the face of the earth with
- no power loss, then a communication can be transmitted in a similar fashion.
- This has a twofold implication. Not only would communications companies
- have their control sharply curtailed but the capability would be there for
- people to listen in to any location they chose. No more secrets.
-
- We are just beginning to theorize about the physics implications and discuss
- some of the possibilities. Tom Bearden deals in a more detailed exploration
- of such possibilities in his several books and one startling prediction is
- that faster than speed of light movement and anti-gravity devices are reason-
- ably within reach once Tesla technology is acknowledged. This would mean
- instantaneous shipment of any sized object to any other spot on the globe or
- to nearby planets with no apparent energy expenditure. There goes the
- transportation industry (trains, trucks, ships - everything).
-
- I have seen papers written within this organization that claim time travel
- is impossible, given what we surmise about Tesla technology. Other people
- (myself included) disagree. I find this subject difficult to grasp from
- an implicational standpoint. I believe that we have "natural" teleportation
- occurring in the universe and there may be enough evidence to suggest
- "natural" time travel.
-
- While the reader may think I am getting fairly far afield with my specu-
- lations, I hope to address that with this final point.

-
- There is only one Unified Field Theorey (by definition). If the theorey is re-
- discovered and all physical secrets of the universe are unlocked, then
- anything is possible (and hopefully the counter control is equally possible).
- I have tried to explore only those possibilities that are directly linkable to
- theoretical Tesla technology. I seriously invite additional dialogue (or
- disputation) on these subjects.

- Is an open column to which anyone can submit a personal viewpoint of Tesla
- and/or Tesla Technology. Tesla was a pioneer who was recurrently challenged by
- his contemporaries. We wholeheartedly encourage a pioneering spirit.

- May Minutes
-
- The May 13th meeting was held at the chapter's laboratory in San Francisco.
-
- Edwin El-Kareh brought a copy of the Yugoslavian production of Nikola Tesla's
- life story. This two hour film is a fairly faithful rendition of the history
- of Tesla from the time of his entry to this country at New York until his
- death. Flashbacks were used to illustrate how childhood influenced Tesla's
- genius. While the production values and direction were somewhat hokey, many
- original Tesla devices were used and location shots of original backgrounds
- figured prominantly in the film.
-
- Edwin brought two other shorts stressing the fact that efforts by individuals
- can make a tremendous difference in any time or circumstance.
-
- A brief explanation of Associated Partners West was offered by Darrell Bross.
- APW is a reliable firm dealing in ozone/oxygenation products as health
- supplements. A catalog and explanation of their product line can be had by
- writing to APW.
-
- A preliminary announcement was made indicating that the core group of our
- chapter was busy working on concrete plans to provide
-

- extensive support to individuals working in the fields of Tesla Technology. The
- feeling has been expressed that only a minority of people exploring this
- technology have all the requisite entrepreneurial skills to bring devices out
- to the marketplace or to the awareness of the public. We are "not just another
- user group."

- Electromagnetic Brain Stimulation:
- A Lecture by Bob Beck
- Reviewed by Jerry Tomlinson
-
- There was standing room only at Henry Dakin's Parapsychology Research Group
- meeting on the night of Tuesday, May 8th. the occasion was a lecture and slide
- show by Bob Beck, one of the great pioneers in the field of
- electrostimulation.
-
- Mr. Beck has had an outstanding career with over 45 years of government and
- academic experience in the instrumentation of altered states, development of
- medical electrostimulators, and the investigation of Tesla electromagnetics.
- he is the inventor of the BT-5 brain device that you see advertised in today's
- mainstream new thought magazines; i.e., Magical Blend, New Age Journal, etc.
-
- The main theme of Mr. Beck's talk was the medical applications of his neuro-
- stimulator and the fierce resistance to such devices by the national
- bureaucracy. While being careful not to make claims that his device actually
- "cures" people, Mr. beck outlined many cases of users of the BT-5 having
- wonderful "spontaneous remissions" from such ailments as alcohol and narcotics
- addiction.
-
- The audience was taken via slide show through the history of medical electro-
- stimulation vs. the monolithic pharmaceutical companies. There are records of
- patents being obtained for neurostimulating devices as far back as the 1830's.
- There are also graphic illustrations of packages of heroin being marketed by
- Bayer alongside their aspirin formulae. It's clear that pioneers such as Bob
- Beck have formidable foes.
-
- There were so many notable people in the audience that Mr. Beck decided to
- form a panel for q. and a. The panel was comprised of Michael Hutchinson,
- author of Megabrain; Burl Payne, author of Body Magnetic, and Eric Reiter of
- GoodFields Technology. Lively discussion followed.
-
- Mr. Beck also gave glowing praises to another person in the audience, SFTS
- Vice President Shelley Thompson, who literally saved Mr. Beck's life a few
- years ago. Way to go, Shelley!
-
- All in all, it was a memorable night. The Teslanauts who stuck together when
- the meeting broke up all ran off to the Copper Penny for pie, hot chocolate,
- and noisy conversation.
-
-
- Editor's Note: Robert C. Beck, B. E., D. Sc., designed a modern prototype of
- the Lakhovsky Multiple Wave Oscillator we now use in our SFTS laboratory.
